\nWe believe that the most important phase of a construction project occurs before the first shovel hits the ground. Our professional and comprehensive pre-construction services ensure that the project will run smoothly once construction begins. We provide constant input as the design evolves, evaluating the project budget, constructability of the design, quality of materials and how the major building systems are integrated. We also collaborate with the client regarding the phasing and logistics of the project in order to build the most efficient construction schedule possible.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/p>\n

\nOur primary services during the construction phase are to monitor and control the budget, schedule, quality of work and jobsite safety. We subscribe to the theory than an overwhelming majority of the problems that occur during a construction project are directly attributable to poor communication. Therefore, we utilize systems, procedures and technology that ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information across the entire project team. <\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/p>\n

\nPurdum\u2019s commitment to our clients does not end when occupancy begins. Our entire company culture is rooted in client service and relationship building. So, naturally, we consider post-construction service to be an integral part of every project. We don’t ride off into the sunset. We strive to provide a comfortable transition and make sure that the owners have a grasp on the intricacies of their new space. We provide training sessions for all building systems, and typically provide a videotaped version of those sessions in case of future turnover. We also provide detailed and thorough operation and maintenance manuals that outline the care required for nearly every material found in the building.<\/p>\n
